The AMES Companies ship to the 48 contiguous states only. This excludes shipping to non-contiguous U.S. state or territory — in Alaska, Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. Shipping is also not available in Canada.
A street address is required for shipments. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO or FPO addresses.
Shipments should arrive within 7-10 business days.
At this time we offer standard delivery only. Product will be left at the outside of your delivery location. We do not currently offer any white glove services to bring product inside. Please plan accordingly for bringing product inside and any assembly required.
ClosetMaid.com orders are subject to a calculated rate or a minimum freight charge of $10, whichever is greater.
RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
We are committed to making sure you are completely satisfied with your online purchase. If you encounter a problem with your order due to a shipping error, missing parts or product damage, please contact Customer Service within 30 days of receipt of the product at 800-874-0008. To ensure efficient service, have your order number ready when you call.
A Customer Service representative will work to remedy your situation as quickly as possible by either:
Replacing your incorrect product with the correct product
Replacing damaged product with new product
Or shipping the missing parts you specify
Our Customer Service will advise disposition of the incorrect or damaged product. In the event that a product replacement or parts are not available, we will refund the credit card you used for your original purchase.
If you change your mind regarding a ClosetMaid.com order and wish to cancel, you must contact us by no later than 9:00 AM EST the following day to cancel the order without incurring a 30% restocking fee.
In the case that a return or refund is desired, the following stipulations apply. You may initiate a return for most items within 30 days of delivery. The original ClosetMaid.com order number or purchase information will be required to receive a refund.
If the return is a result of damage or defect, we will refund the full cost of the merchandise and shipping charges; provided, however, that the foregoing does not apply if damage to any product is determined, in our reasonable discretion, to have been caused by you.
A full product refund, less a 30% restocking fee and any original shipping charges incurred by us, will be issued when a non-defective or undamaged product is returned in new and unused condition. Any original shipping charges that you incurred will not be refunded.
You are responsible to pay the return shipping fee when you return a non-defective or undamaged product.
Except if a returned item is defective or was damaged by us, we will not provide a refund if the returned item is not in its new, original and unopened condition.
If you initiate a return after 30 days, we may issue a partial refund depending on elapsed time and condition of merchandise.
Please note that all refunds will be made at the sole discretion of The AMES Companies.
